It is really good. The king both young and old are played excellent. The way they created the letters, the storyline, even though it is a sad ending, it is worth watching.

If you like autobiographies, history, saguek (period K dramas), excellent story, very well written characters, good pace, political intrigue, action, love story, csi. genius of a script, very well thought out storyline and pacing then this is definitely a MUST for you. Personally I was gripped from episode 1 to 15, after that my interest waned abit but I still wanted to know what happened next. To add this was the highest rated drama when it was airing in Korea. So cant go wrong trying this drama. Personally, eventhough not my top 3 drama 2011, I still would highly recommend it.

This is beyond perfection! Stellar actors and actresses. And mind blowing story. I watched the whole drama in just a few days, I got so hooked up and couldn’t stop watching it. I’m glad that I waited until all eng. subs were available to watch it in a row, if not I went crazy. I loved Han Suk Kyu as king Sejong and looking forward to catch up more of his work.

Most excellent story and acting. So addicting, 4 days of staying up till almost 7am to keep watching to see what would happen next. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, except for crying buckets during the last episode. Need to find a good comedy next to counter the effects of this one. Thank you so much for this one, payahbleh!
