This is probably one of my most favorite dramas. The characters are easy to fall in love with; I’m glad that Da Mo’s soft nature prevailed. He’s sweet, awkward, and gentle, but it’s obvious that his strong and masculine side exists as well. As for Sa Ran, I found her incredible. What a woman. I’m glad her personality didn’t drastically change because although people change, they still somewhat maintain their original characteristics. The fact that Sa Ran’s character was so consistent made the drama easy to follow and understand.

In my opinion, most love stories are presented in the most cliche and unrealistic ways. But this drama presents love in one of its most naked and raw forms. It’s beautiful, should make you tear up at the least, and be somewhat confusing and annoying. Love can’t always be perfectly romantic and logical, right?

This drama doesn’t just involve a really beautiful love story. It’s unique flashbacks and comedy leaves you laughing and wanting to re-watch the whole series again. The first couple episodes are slow and only show glimpses of the romance, but those few glimpses are worth it and develop four or five episodes in the series.

    Rate: 9.5/10

In general I like this drama. Even though there are ghosts and all sort of unrealistic situations, the storyline shows difficult situations of life that eventually get resolve one way or another. Goong Joo’s mother, and Chairman Ah are just very selfish people. I also like the whole culinary teaching about what food is good for your health, etc.

From all the reviews, I expected something phenomenal which I got at the start…but unfortunately things became dull later on. The actors did an alright job, nothing to really praise. A pleasant surprise was how the whole love line kicks right in from the very first episode (something I thought I’d have to wait for considering the number of eps). I have a few complaints with some of the characters. For Dan Sa Ran, I feel like for 95% of the drama her character was flat…same emotion with not much progress and she soon then becomes quite boring. At times, Sung Hoon made his acting too ‘obvious’ especially during scenes that required laughter. Gong Joo’s mother…oh dear, seriously her character was too annoying.

. Imo this drama could have been shorter if it didn’t include some nonsense things that I though kind of spoiled the whole mood of the thing.

The beginning was strong and very much enjoyable as for the rest, it was a meh factor. 7/10 probably…
