Kim Mun-hee (Suh Jung) is a 32 years old divorced woman. She eventually engages into an affair with 19 years old Seo-hyun (Shim Ji-ho), for whom Kim is his first love. However, according to law in Korea, when it comes to sex, you are not of full age until 20. Therefore, Kim has to spend a few days in prison for seduction of minors, before she is set free and sentenced to do some hours of social work. In front of prison there isn’t only the press waiting for some statement, as they have great interest in this case, but also Seo-hyun, who is happy to be finally reunited with his beloved.
Mun-hee and Seo-hyun rent a room and stay there for some days, whereas they spend their time almost solely with sex. Anyway, Mun-hee slowly starts to understand, that this kind of relationship won’t work out forever, and thus wants to split up with Seo-hyun. But the boy asseverates that he really loves her, and that he won’t let go of her. The two find shelter at the home of a friend of Mun-hee, Jane (Oh Yun-hong). Nonetheless, where is this relationship actually heading to, and is this really love?

What a neat movie! The actor playing the lead role (Shim Ji-ho) looks so much like Rain did in Full House that I had to give this one a shot (man, what I wouldn’t give to see Rain’s sexy ass in a movie like THIS!), and I’m so glad I did. There are plenty of hot sex scenes, but at the end of the day, Green Chair is a wonderfully offbeat and refreshing love story. Shim Ji-ho and Suh Jung’s chemistry is really off the charts!
While I have no idea why the film is called ‘Green Chair’, this one is a real gem: 8/10

i downloaded this movie, then forgot what it is about and when i watched i was..quite shocked ^-^
not for kids, definitely, and a very pretty movie! IMO, i expected more scenes about how they met and some scenes should be out.. and if you watch with your partner, i doubt you finish the movie xD

A good film. The guy was cute, and it’s a relief to see a “relationship” movie where the girl doesn’t have PMS the entire time.

Good film but it’s weird that Japanese movie ‘PARADE’ is listed R Rated in which there isn’t even such R Rated stuff whereas this one with lots of stimulating thing, isn’t even listed as R Rated list. This is NC-17, HAHA!
